Twenty-five years later, survivors of the 1994 Genocide Against the Tutsi in Rwanda share their memories of the genocide, and the messages they hope to pass on to future generations. Although the experiences differ, the message is the same: Share your story, Listen to others, and, above all, Never lose hope. #StrongerThanHate

USC Shoah Foundation is committed to helping Rwanda expand its efforts to collect and preserve memories of 1994's Genocide Against the Tutsi in Rwanda. The testimonies of Rwandan genocide survivors USC Shoah Foundation has recorded with Kigali Genocide Memorial and Aegis Trust, provide powerful evidence of the consequences of intolerance as well as inspiration for Rwanda’s post-genocide society.

With a network of international partners, USC Shoah Foundation’s work aims to use the voices of survivors to raise awareness and inspire action.
