Iceland travel guide. 7 days around Iceland in a camper with my family. The greatest adventure of our lifetime.

Q: Where did I rent a motorhome?
A: I have already rented the camper on the spot. There are many companies, including many Polish ones.
Q: How much was the motorhome?
A: A week of renting a motorhome cost us about PLN 7,000. This is still a better price than renting a hotel for 7 days.
Q: What month were you in Iceland?
A: We chose August. If I can advise you, I recommend the end of June or the beginning of July, when you can observe the polar day and the sun does not set even at night.
Q: Do I need to rent a 4x4 to visit Iceland?
A: 4x4 car is needed to enter central Iceland. A large part of the attractions are on the route leading around the island along the coast and there is no such need. Motorhomes are not allowed inside Iceland. At least not the ones offered for rent.
Q: Is it difficult to find a station or a campsite for a campervan?
Oh no. Basically every town has its own campsite. Operation is super easy, it pays off with a mobile app. A very convenient system.
