Shabani and his son Kiyomasa are very close, but recently Kiyomasa has been maturing as an adult male, and on this day Shabani was wary that Kiyomasa might take the female Ai.
Shabani's daughter Annie did not seem particularly bothered by the tension between the males and was picking on her grandma Nene.
