Ridge Board Installation with One Person

I am building a 28'x40' dream garage and I don't really have a lot of help. In this video I show how I lifted and installed the ridge board (ridge beam) without help. You do need to build a support to hold the other end however it is not too hard to do this.

NOTE: Once the first board is in place, you can install a few rafters to hold it there. Then you can remove the support you built and use it on the end of the next ridge board.
