When building models in AFT Arrow, you may notice the Cv/Kv loss models in valves require extra input, known as xT. This does not show up in valve models for incompressible flow, which most people are more comfortable with. ANSI/ISA-75.01.01-2012 defines xT and special considerations for compressible flow and gives methods for control valve sizing. We have equations from that standard native in Arrow's regular valves and control valves.

Walk away with an understanding of these various terms and how they apply in Arrow. We will also go through what to do when you may not have the appropriate data.
