And since our lifestyle is becoming more stressed, and people can't read like they once could, the ability to share knowledge in our era is a wonderful thing allowing people to educate and get exposed to as much knowledge.. and that’s what I came here for..
Who are you? Have you ever asked yourself this question? I will try to answer this question conceding time and place..
You are one out of 7.7 billion humans living on planet earth today. Ever since life began, until this day, more than a hundred billion people have lived. Meaning, us, all this life today, are only six percent of whoever have lived on earth.
Out of the living and the dead, there is no one like you, exactly like you, never was and never will be, you are deferent of them all, with your appearing, your believes, your dreams and especially your thoughts.. you’re a nature unique creation.. there are people who are taller, more beautiful than you or less.. more clever than you or less.. but there is no exact match of you.. you are a miracle of cosmic creation
On average, you will live around 70 to 80 years, on a planet that is 4.54 billion years old. I won't even bother calculating the percentage of that, but you do agree with me that it is a very small proportion, right? A wise man said once" human, you are just a matter of days, with each day that passes so does a part of you" [husien Elbasri]
You are but a stardust, living on this small dot (), that is only one out of 700 billion stars in our galaxy, which on itself is one out of a hundred billion galaxies. Not to mention the Parallel Universe theory, as Arthur Clark once said: " Two possibilities exist: either we are alone in the universe or we are not. Both are equally terrifying".
You live here, on this small dot, for a short period of time, trying to control everything, always worried, worried about what your boss said, worried about your bank account, your business, your kids.. Roaming around sad, destroying your whole day over spelt morning coffee, or over that guy who cursed you at traffic light, wasting your life over this trouble and that.. is that really what I came here for?
So the question is, what is the best way to live, how can benefit this short life? What is the meaning of life? What is the meaning of you being here and now, at this specific time, for such a small period, one out of billion, searching for a meaning, or not? Besides, what is this "meaning" everyone is talking about? Some say the meaning of life is love, some claim its happiness, achieving your potential, seeking the good, helping others, pleasure, many meaning.. What should the hell I believe in?
Or maybe, your nothing but a thought.. a wondering thought.. and there is nothing in this world besides your thought, everything else is a illusion of your thoughts.. There is no earth.. No stars.. No galaxy and no God.. No life or death.. No heaven or hell.. No other people.. You are only a thought.. Even this video does not exist.. Your mind has just invented it.. Let's say it is not, and let's say that the external reality exists also without you,
What is the purpose of this life and who have decided I wanna take a part playing this game?
Thousands of people, philosophers, scientists, religions and Gods tried to answer these questions, since the prehistoric man they are trying to find answers, but is there a satisfying answer among any? Can you look for the truth in your so short life, the meaning, and is there really only one?
