Car chase from the Korean
Car chase from the Korean remake of the 1990 Dabney Coleman action-comedy SHORT TIME (with Lee Beom-su in Coleman's role) demonstrates that Korean stunt people still have a ways to go to master the art of the convincing car chase. Too many scenes where you can tell the cars aren't really going that fast, and the old cliche that stepping on the cast will actually give a car enough lift to fly UP and through a bottle water truck. Looks cool, but doesn't add up. Hollywood used to do these things A LOT, and still do on occasion, but in time hopefully we'll see better car stunts in Korean cinema. Still, this has its moments.
