Digging Thundereggs at the Lucky Strike Mine

The Lucky Strike mine has made my top ten list for spots to rockhound in Oregon for sure. The location is wonderful, the owner is nice, and the material is top-notch. If you have the chance to go here during summer 2020, do it!

A few things to keep in mind when heading out to this location. This site is not passenger car friendly, you're about an hour from civilization, there is no cellphone coverage, and this is not the place to bring a trailer or RV since the road is very narrow in places and turning around is absolutely an issue.
