Legless Travels - Double amputee in Kenya

Being an Amputee, having no legs and two deformed hands traveling the world has always been a challenge for me but allowing people to help me and not being bothered about the fact that people are staring when I am carried, crawling or walking on my stumps when the terrain isn’t wheelchair accessible, has made things so much easier and I am grateful to have seen so many wonderful places in the last few years. One of those places I want to share with you is Kenya. I will keep this one close to my heart. Of course there are the glorious beaches, the nowhere else to be seen wildlife, the incredible landscape but it’s the people of Kenya who touched me. Their happy joyful nature even in times of despair, kindhearted, helpful and friendly wherever I went. I have never had so many offers of people wanting to push my chair or carry me to places :) It truly was an amazing holiday and a real adventure at times..after all, it is Africa! God bless!
