Shure Beta 52 vs AKG D112 Bass Drum Microphone Comparison

Each mic is setup on a small boom and placed inside the front hole of the bass drum reso head.  They are pointing towards where the beater strikes the batter head and probably 4" - 6" from the batter head.

The two overheads are Sterling Audio ST 51 large diaphragm condensers.  Running the two overheads and whichever bass drum mic I'm using into a small mixer, then into the "direct input" of a Zoom Q3HD recorder.  I'm not able to do any mixing after recording, so it's all or nothing while recording.
