colt m16-a1 rifle converted to
colt m16-a1 rifle converted to carbine.
chrome bore barrel cut to 12.5 inches, drilled new gas port, installed new gastube, locally made carbine conversion kit (steel buffer tube, buffer, spring).
1st trial, 30 rounds using Colt GI mags.
so far the rifle was tested with 200 rounds, 3 noted last round jams using very old GI aluminum magazines.
shot with WCC m193
