With an aim at developing a national laboratory of quantum information sciences in China,
Beijing Academy of Quantum Information Sciences (BAQIS) is a newly founded innovative research institution strongly supported by Beijing municipal government. It is an important part of the ongoing development of “National Science and Technology Innovation Center” in Beijing, and aims at building a national laboratory of Quantum Information Sciences in the future. BAQIS has partnered with Tsinghua University, Peking University, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and integrated the great resources from these institutions, which have significant strengths in the quantumi nformation related research areas such as Quantum State of Matter, Quantum Computation and Teleportation, Quantum Materials and Devices and Quantum Metrology.
