Domaine Leflaive: Worth the Money?

Is Domaine Leflaive worth the money? Does Domaine Leflaive deserve the hype? By all accounts, Domaine Leflaive is one of the top 10 producers of white Burgundy. They are up their in the upper echelon of the great burgundy producers. Over the generations, the winey has cultivated their reputation of producing glorious Chardonnay from Puligny Montrachet. As one would expect, Leflaive wines aren't exactly inexpensive. So do they deserve the prices they charge? Rich and Taylor sat down this week to investigate. In order to truly gauge the value, or lack thereof, Rich and Taylor opened a high quality $20 Bourgogne bottling from the more than reliable Louis Jadot.
