Everything that went WRONG with Eminem’s Music To Be Murdered By. Eminem’s 11th studio album Music to Be Murdered By was released on January 17th, 2020, as a surprise album, in similar fashion to 2018’s Kamikaze. The album cover pays homage to the 1950s Alfred Hitchcock album ‘Music To Be Murdered By’.This album allowed for Eminem to become the first artist to have 10 consecutive #1 Albums on the Billboard 200 Chart; it also sold 279k copies in its first week of release. Some of the album’s most popular tracks include Godzilla, Darkness & Stepdad.
From Eminem’s urge to release another album so soon after his 2017 and 2018 releases to his odd feature choices, this album has already started to age like milk. Yes, Eminem is a very talented rapper but he no longer needs to prove it at this point in his career. This album probably has some of Eminem’s corniest and most embarrassing lyrics ever.
