I call Abena Korkor my "Bipolar Twin" because we got diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder (a mental illness) around the same time frame.

In this episode, Abena Korkor is going to answer some questions on her mental health journey and road to recovery.

Abena Korkor is one of the people who inspired me to share my lived experience of Bipolar Disorder with the rest of the world.

Bipolar disorder is a mental illness that causes extreme mood swings which include emotional highs (mania) and lows (depression).

Its symptoms really affect sleep, energy, activity, judgment, behavior & the ability to think clearly.
