In this video I cover how to add support for Nvidia DLSS / DLAA, AMD FSR & Intel XeSS in Fallout 4 using the Fallout 4 Upscaler mod.
This mod requires the Fallout 4 script extender, so it will only work with the Steam version of Fallout 4 and not the version included as part of Microsoft Game Pass.
Step 1. Install F4SE – Fallout 4 Script Extender

The latest build can be downloaded from Nexus Mods, simply click on the Files tab and download using the Manual Download option.
Once the download has finished, extract the archive, take a copy of the files and folders inside the extracted folder, and paste into the game’s installation directory.
In my case, this is located at:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4
I also recommend that you create a shortcut to the f4se_loader.exe file so you can load the game with the script extender enabled, I normally place this on my desktop.
Step 2. Install Dependencies & Chose an Upscaling Method.
The Fallout 4 Upscaler mod has some dependencies that need to be installed for it to work.
The first is Address Library for SKSE Plugins mod.

This can be installed automatically using Vortex Mod Manager if you click on the Mod Manager Download link on the Files page.
The second dependency is the Upscaler Base Plugin mod, which needs to be installed manually.

On the Files page, click the Manual Download option.
After the download has finished, extract the archive, and move the UpscalerBasePlugin folder to Data\UpscalerBasePlugin.
The final dependency is your upscaling technology, either DLSS, FSR or XeSS.
The download links for all these libraries at located at the bottom of the Description on the UpscalerBasePlugin mod page.
In either case, once you have downloaded and extracted the required libraries, and copy the DLLs inside the UpscalerBasePlugin folder.
Step 3. Install The Fallout 4 Upscaler Mod.

The Fallout 4 Upscaler mod can be installed automatically using Vortex Mod Manager if you click on the Mod Manager Download link on the Files page.
Step 4. Using The Fallout 4 Upscaler Mod.
Whilst in game, if you press the END key, it will bring up the Skyrim Upscaler Settings menu.
From here, you can enable or disable the upscaling, sharpen the image, or select the Upscaling Type you wish to apply.
