Feast of Santo Ñino is celebrated every third Sunday of January in the Philippines to commemorate the introduction of Christian faith to the Filipino culture. Historically, the symbol of Santo Niño was first seen when Magellan first came to Cebu and presented it as a gift to the island’a ruler. Nowadays, Feast of Sto Ñino is well celebrated specifically in Cebu during Sinulog festival.
