Watch my bus journey from Hyderabad to Mangalore by Kaveri Volvo B9R AC sleeper manual bus. This is my first time bus journey on this route and also first time by VKaveri bus. I really enjoyed the bus journey a lot as it covers the beautiful coastal Karnataka route and I also get to shoot daytime views which otherwise I couldnt much. I really liked the bus and their crew as well. All of them were very co-operative & supportive. Especially the conductor who was poilte the entire way and also ensured I was looked after. The total time for this bus journey is approx. 16-17 hours. The reporting time of the bus was 5:15 pm at LBS stadium and it was dropping time wsa 10:30 am. The bus came on time and we reached Mangalore at 10:40, only ten mins late inspite of the 30 mins delay in between. The route of the bus is Hyderabad - Raichur - Hubballi - Yellapur - Kumta - Kundapur - Udupi - Mangalore. The total distance is approx. 825 Kms. The bus Fare was Rs.1700, AC sleeper bus. Our bus encountered bus race with KSRTC Ambaari, Canara Pinto MG Starz, Vishal and APSRTC & TSRTC buses. The bus was speed locked at 90 kmph but did almost 100 kmph.Long chase with KSRTC Ambaari which did good speed at Yellapur ghat.
The bus also halted for morning breakfast in Byndoor where had something to eat and freshen up. I would highly recommend this route and I will definitely do more trips on this route as well.
