Marvel Rivals Gameplay on the
Marvel Rivals Gameplay on the Closed Alpha Test / Playtest that went from May 10 to May 20. This is gameplay of The Amazing Spider Man, aka Peter Parker, one of the several heroes in this game along with a small clip of his alternate skin that is 2099: Spider-Punk. This gameplay footage is played on the Quick Match playlist which can feature all three possible maps, along with 19 heroes in total that's only available in this Alpha for now. There's three types of heroes that are Duelist, Vanguard, and Strategist.
This newest free to play hero shooter has gotten tons of people being reminded of Overwatch 2 since its official announcement trailer from a month ago. The classes of the heroes and the game modes are similar, as well as the various abilities and ultimates. However, this game does offer something unique to this game, such as with team-ups that are based on certain characters you have on your team that gives you new abilities or more ways to play.
Spider-Man is the most difficult hero (5 star difficulty) in the game due to his playstyle being like what you see from the Insomniac Games Spider-Man PS4 / PS5 game, but in a PvP environment where people will focus and aim on you with the least mistakes. From what I've seen in matches with teammates of Spider-Man, the majority of the time he'll be low damage than his other DPS teammates. Even if he gets eliminated, he can get quickly back to the battle because of his swinging ability.
The first match uses "Automatic Swing" which is a default setting that will stick web swinging any spot that it can find for you to swing to. After the match is over, I show in the settings that I turn off the setting so I can do manual web swinging instead. It's more preferable to use this so you can get to your enemies as well as get out before getting eliminated by them.

The costume for Spider-Man is shown after all the matches, right near the end of the video. It is only a preview of what it looks like when you use it in the game. I tried to get a couple of matches in that skin, but none of them felt as great matches. So I moved on to play the other heroes that I haven't yet before the eventual closing of the Alpha.
In the official console announcement trailer, Spider-Man will have an exclusive skin called the Scarlet Spider for the PS5 version of the game.
The Closed Alpha is currently no longer working since May 21 on 3:00 AM EST. This is gameplay footage from when it was available for people to play before the servers went down.
