Welcome to Albany, a suburb on the North Shore of Auckland. Albany is one of the northernmost suburbs of the Auckland metropolitan area in New Zealand. It is located to the north of the Waitematā Harbour, 15 kilometres northwest of the Auckland city centre.
Albany has become a major substantial shopping and retail zone within the northwestern Auckland area. Westfield Albany, a major shopping centre, opened in the 1990s.
The walk starts near the Warehouse Albany on Don McKinnon Drive and ends near Northridge Plaza.
