Original vs Remake: REC & Quarantine

Seeing as most of the world is in quarantine, let's look at a movie literally called Quarantine (by John Erick Dowdle) and the 2007 Spanish original [REC] (by Jaume Balagueró and Paco Plaza). Both found footage horror films featuring journalist Angela Vidal, who follows a group of firemen entering an apartment building, where something strange is going on.
