The film begins in a village Nandgaon which is ruled by Dharmraj rectitude & rebel whom the public deifies. Hither, the Police are detested to enter the premises. Dharmraj gives unbiased judgments, by inquest the issues at a square called Dharma Peetham where a sword is pierced in the trunk of a tree that has historical significance. During the pre-independence, a revolutionist Dharmraj forefather of the present slew several Britishers with the same sword, and he was hanged to that tree. So, as an honor for his valor and sacrifice, people placed the sword in its trunk. Whenever piety has transcended the limits Dharmraj unsheathes the sword and eliminates the treacherous.
