Kaboudwall all-moss waterfall
Kaboudwall, in the literal sense and in the Katuli dialect as the local dialect of the region, is composed of two parts Kaboud meaning blue and Wall meaning brooke, which is called so because of the cleanness of the river flowing in the heart of the forests of the region, and in part of the forests Hyrkani is a plain in the Alborz mountain range, which is home to a number of animal species with diverse vegetation and has a series of waterfalls and a vast lake, as well as one of the most beautiful all-moss waterfalls in Iran. This forest is located at a distance of 5 kilometers from the city center and in the southeast direction of the city of Ali Abad Katul in Golestan province.
کبودوال، در معنای لغوی و در گویش کتولی به عنوان گویش بومی منطقه از دو بخش کبود به معنای آبی و وال به معنای جوی آب، تشکیل شده که بخاطر پاک و آبی بودن رودخانه جاری در دل جنگلهای منطقه بدان نامیده شده و در بخشی از جنگلهای هیرکانی جلگه ای در رشته کوه البرز است که با پوشش گیاهی متنوع محل زندگی تعدادی از گونه‌های جانوری بوده و دارای مجموعه ای از آبشارها و دریاچه ای وسیع و همچنین یکی از زیباترین آبشارهای تمام خزه ای ایران است. این جنگل به فاصله ۵ کیلومتری از مرکز شهر و در جهت جنوب شرقی شهر علی آباد کتول از توابع استان گلستان قرار دارد.
