Fiat X1/9 Silhouette: La mia 1° macchina da corsa - Davide Cironi (Dal Pollaio alla Pista Ep.8 SE02)

For someone who loves stories of revenge and the discovery of lost treasures, the first race car I owned could not be bought ready-made. My X1/9 prototype E2SH, which once would have been called a "Silhouette," lay dead and gutted for many many years near Genoa. Together with the 2010 Italian Slalom Champion Alessandro Polini, we will make it a hillclimb assaultive beast. The engine will be a Kawasaki 1400 cc as per the regulation maximum, the horsepower over 200, the weight shall not exceed 550 kg. You do the math. The best thing is that in the Polini Motorsport workshop practically everything will be built by hand from scratch.
