If you have your old D-Link DSL 2750U Modem + Router lying around at home unused then, you can set it as a coverage extender for your primary router and use its wireless capabilities to extend the WiFi coverage.

In this video, we have set up our D-Link DSL 2750U Modem + Router as a secondary router. We are configuring DHCP Relay for achieving our goal. We have done the required settings so that we can use our DSL 2750U's WiFi signal to improve the internet coverage provided by our-Link primary router.

We have also covered how to update firmware on the DSL 2750U modem to the latest version. It was necessary as my device had old firmware and lacked DHCP Relay setting.

So, to summarize, We have set up our D-Link DSL 2750U as a secondary router, connected via ethernet cable, to our primary router TP-Link Archer C6 AC-1200. Then we are using the WiFi signal of DSL 2750U to extend internet coverage. DSL 2750U is acting as a wireless Access Point.

If you have any other spare router and if it has DHCP Relay setting then, you can follow the process covered in the video to set it as a secondary router. It is not just limited to D-Link DSL 2750U. Since DSL 2750U is a very old device with no wireless repeater mode in it like modern devices, this was one method to put it into use as an internet coverage extender.

I hope the explanation in the video was simple and straightforward. Thank you for your time.
