Hi, I'm Pat 👋 and this is my back garden in the West of Sheffield, which is a city in the North of England.

I have been continually streaming what goes on in the garden for over three years, non-stop on this page!

🍽️ Tonight is a night off feeding.

🍴 Night time food is normally put down every other day unless there are no takers on one day - if the food is in the feeder then it'll be ok for the next day, typically.

🐦 The feral pigeons are now a mainstay it seems with a few hardcore birds sticking around no matter what I do. I try and tailor what I do in the day, feeding-wise, to minimise their numbers.

Here you can watch hungry mammals at night and pretty birbs in the day! Yes, birbs! It became common parlance that I am 'doing the birbs' when I am tending to this, so now you must put up with this weirdness.

I'm not here all the time so I have excellent moderators (Emz, Chrissie and Daun) to keep some kind of order. Please keep it friendly!

Situated near to the Rivelin Valley Nature Trail, this stream shows a selection of views from 16 cameras in the garden depending on what kind of feeding day/night it is. There are a further 5 cameras covering nest boxes.

The sound on the stream is filtered to reduce background noise for privacy reasons and may be muted from time to time. The water features come on early in the morning and go off late at night also for this reason.

At 9.30pm, the layout switches to make the ground cams more prominent as that is where most of the action occurs overnight. It switches back at 5am.

This started with an eBay purchase of a camera in Jan 2021 and went out of control! There are now 20 cameras scattered round the side & back of my house 🤪

The garden is in a fairly built-up area so you are seeing the wildlife that likes to live in the city. This doesn't stop badgers & foxes visiting every night however.

There are a few feeding areas now, a combination of which may be in use in the day and night. There is water available in the bird bath/water features for the birds and refilling bowls for the mammals.
