How a Dutchman became the King of England

In 1689 a new King and Queen were crowed in England, it was an unusual event, the pair would rule as coregents and the King wasn’t English but Dutch. The story, or perhaps stories, of how a Dutchman found himself King of England is a turning point in history. This event concluded England’s Glorious Revolution, and led on to cement a Major constitutional change. Catholics would be prevented from taking the crown and the English Bill of rights would come from this bloodless revolution.
