Today we're taking you along
Today we're taking you along on our travel day to Disneyland Paris as we head to check out the Christmas season at the Euro Disney resort travelling by Euro Tunnel Le Shuttle.
We're taking you along on the driving sharing tips and tricks and our experience driving for the first time, we'll give you an idea of what you need to take, how the journey feels and an overview of the Folkestone EuroTunnel Le Shuttle terminal. The cost of the Eurotunnel itself was £173.00 for the vehicle and up to 5 passengers.
From our area along the M4 corridor, it's roughly a 6 hour journey in total so leaving after work we decide to stop off along the way in Arass, a small town around 1 hour from Calais. Here we stayed in a budget hotel B & B Hotels, this is similar to a Travelodge or Premier Inn by European standards.
Along the way we show you the toll situation and what to do here and a briefly overview of what it's like on French roads.
We'll also give you a little overview of the actually train itself on the 35 minute journey between Folkestone and Calais and what to expect with the check in and boarding process.
The next morning we make our way from the hotel to Disneyland Paris, an additional 2.5 hour drive on relatively straight roads!
