VLOG 67 - Kollur Mookambika to Trivandrum in Scania Metrolink of Kerala State Road Transport Corporation

🔍 JOURNEY SUMMARY:
In this vlog we'll be experiencing the longest and fasted bus of Kerala RTC covering the entire state from top to bottom.
The bus is Scania Metrolink - 2x1 AC semi-sleeper configuration. The bus departs from Kollur Mookambika at 2:15PM. There are two drivers and in conductor and all were friendly.
Th first stop after departing Kollur was Mangalore and the bus stopped only for picking up passengers. Official break was at Kasaragod Bus Stand where they refueled diesel also. From there we passed through Payyanur and stopped for dinner break.
After passing through Kannur, Thalaserry and Mahe we reached Calicut/Kozhikode bus stand. After a short break and picking up passengers we started cruising towards Trivandrum. From Calicut onwards we got chase many Kerala RTC buses including Volvo B9R. It was thrilling and amazing cabin ride to watch overtaking all the buses in narrow roads.
In Thrissur bus stand, I saw many K-SWIFT buses heading towards Trivandrum. I also saw a scrap Volvo B9R parked in the bus stand. From there we headed towards Ernakulam and since this bus was By-pass Rider, we didn't go inside Ernakulam city but went to Vyttila Hub which the outskirts bus station of Ernakulam. During a short break in Vyttila Hub, K-SWIFT Gajaraj arrived from Bengaluru and was also heading towards Trivandrum. My bus and Gajaraj departed Ernakulam at same time and on the way we had a one on one race. It was Scania v/s Volvo B11R also Kerala RTC v/s K-SWIFT. Watch the vlog to find out who own the race!
Finally the next morning we reached Trivandrum Bus Stand and completed this amazing journey. For more details watch the vlog till the end.
