Is God of War Ascension worth playing in 2023? | Review

God of War ascension is the most underappreciated game in the franchise if you ask me. It’s not the best game, not by a long shot. Its story is kind of meh and it doesn’t live up to the high standard set by GOW 3 but its combat is intense and its puzzles are arguably some of the best in any GOW game to date.

It’s also an incredibly good-looking game, even by today's standards and I don’t think it gets the appreciation it deserves. It's easily one of the best PS3 games and if you haven’t been blown away by the recent God of War titles, and prefer the older games, then I strongly recommend giving it a go.
