How to stitch a pretty border on your cross stitch fabric

Helps keep your fabric from fraying and you get a pretty design.  I'm currently working on the Disney sampler which came with issues 1/2 of the magazine, and decided to stitch a pretty border around the edge. The sampler doesn't have much room at the edges and they were badly fraying.

This border uses just three colours that the Disney subscription provide you with, but you can easily use a DMC alternative or colours of your own preference.
