The Android 8.0 Oreo update
The Android 8.0 Oreo update will be available from 13th February 2019, and we plan to distribute this update in waves. The easiest way of receiving this update is by ensuring that the Automatic software download setting on your TV is turned ON. Your TV should then receive the update automatically, in the coming weeks. Alternatively, you can download the update via USB, once it's available on the support site. To stay informed, please bookmark your Product page on the support site or download the Support by Sony smartphone app to receive instant notifications on downloads and other announcements.

In this video, we'll go through what's new, starting with the layout of the new Home Screen and how to add and remove favourite apps. We'll also introduce channels and how to customise them. Finally, we'll cover how to access your different TV inputs, the Google Play Store and the TV's Help section.
