Day 1 - After arriving by plane in the early evening we picked up the keys for our car hire and spent the rest of the arvo checking into the Lost Camel Hotel, grabbing lunch at Geckos cafe and stocking up on groceries at the local IGA before heading out for a drive towards Kata Tjuta for a beautiful sunset. Dinner following was made up of simple wraps before we did some stargazing later that night.

Day 2 - Starting at 6:30am we made it early to the national park gates to get the best sunrise viewing spot of Uluru. Eating our pre made chia puddings as we sat and waited for the first rays of light. We then had hired bikes from Outback Bikes for 3 hours to ride around Uluru, stopping and enjoying the multiple historical sites along the way. Hungry from our biking expedition we made our way back to the resort to enjoy some wraps before spending the remaining arvo checking out the cultural centre and discovering more of the national park before parking ourselves at the official Uluru sunset spot. Enjoying our dinner and wine with barely anyone around. Our night ended up walking amongst the iconic field of lights before calling it an early night.

Day 3 - Once again starting early, we spent our last morning watching the sun rise over the Kata Tjuta rock formations from a different perspective before venturing out to do the easy Walpa Gorge walk before the heat of the sun filled the gorge. We spent the remainder of the morning packing and relaxing before catching our flight back home. Thus concluding our 3 day adventure.
