In this video we’ll talk about how to set up Sunshine and Moonlight with Meshnet so that you can play PC games on your phone, laptop, or other mobile devices remotely.

Install Sunshine on a PC:
1. Head over to Sunshine’s GitHub repository releases section.
2. Find an installer that fits your system, download and install it.
3. If the Microsoft Defender SmartScreen window shows up, select “More info” and click “Run anyway.”
4. Open your browser and put in “http://localhost:47990”.
5. In the login screen, create your Sunshine account, and log in.
Add games to your Sunshine account:
1. Head over to the “Applications” tab, then click the “Add new” button.
2. Fill in the “Application name” field.
3. Right-click on the game shortcut and go to “Properties.”
4. In the “Shortcut” tab, find and copy the value of the “Target” parameter.
5. Head back to the Sunshine UI and paste the target along with the parentheses in the “Detached commands” field.
6. Click the plus button to save the command and add the game cover art.
7. Double-check the “Application name” field. Finally, click the Save button.
Set up Moonlight:
1. Make sure you’re logged in to your app, Meshnet is on, and remote device access is enabled for your client device.
2. Grab the Moonlight installer from the Moonlight website, which will take you to their GitHub repository.
3. Download and install it.
4. Add your Sunshine host to the list of devices in Moonlight.
Add Sunshine to Moonlight:
1. Click on the plus icon in the top right corner.
2. Head over to the Meshnet tab and copy your gaming PC’s Nord name, and paste it into the prompt inside Moonlight.
3. Click “OK.”
4. You’ll receive a notification on your Sunshine host asking to accept a pairing request.
5. If that doesn’t happen, head back to Sunshine, put in your credentials, and go to the PIN section.
6. Now, all you have to do is put in the PIN shown by Moonlight and click “Send.”
7. You can adjust the resolution and bitrate settings, depending on your internet connection, so it runs smoothly.
That’s it!
You can now access all the applications you have added while setting up Sunshine as well as Stream Big Picture and Remote Desktop, which were added by default.
Now Moonlight will automatically switch between the Meshnet network and local network seamlessly, depending on where your Sunshine host is available.
