I’ve tried out Tobi (War
I’ve tried out Tobi (War Mask) in the beginning of Connections and I had some positive things to say about him. Little did I know that there was more to this character and I wasn’t utilizing his most powerful tools. One of those things is his infinite. It is such a great thing to realize that this character has an infinite and well his fast normals make this even better! This new way of movement really makes him a great character and helps him out a lot.
Thanks to @titanus261 and @Delicashilous I will showcase this character to you all, since I've been requested to play with him.
Tobi has two primary jutsus at his disposal. His first jutsu allows him to throw out three fire pillars towards his opponent. On hit it causes the opponent to be in an airborne state. This is a nice jutsu at medium range, because the spread between the pillars will be much tighter. It allows the jutsu to be even more lethal this way while also making it harder to dodge.
His second jutsu lets him teleport in the air and throw down a bunch of kunais towards his opponent. On hit it causes them to be in a bounced state which makes it easy to connect a chakra dash after this. It is a very special jutsu, but not the best by a long shot. It functions well at medium range, but at all other ranges it is pretty much useless. If you are too close you will throw the kunais over your opponents head and if they are too far away it won’t reach them. Be sure that you know the right range to throw down this jutsu.
Overall, Tobi is most definitely a great character in Connections and he can deal some heavy damage. Check him out if you haven’t already!
