A knitting pattern can cost up to 10 USD, a set of needles 150 USD, and sweater quantities of yarn up to 200 USD - knitting on a budget can be difficult - especially if you constantly see people on social media flaunting their shopping hauls. But it doesn't have to be. In this video I want to present you with 10 hands-on tips and tricks that will help you save money. A lot of tools can be substituted with stuff you already have at home, free patterns are widely available and a visit to a thrift store will reward you with yarn to upcycle. But you also need to analyze your spending habits and the way you use the yarn - there's a huge saving potential hidden there as well.
