After months of story boarding,
After months of story boarding, drawing, coloring, animating, key framing, and editing..... I am finally done! I am genuinely surprised with myself because I did not expect to actually finish this because I tend to shy away from big projects.
A couple of months back I read the book Carry On by Rainbow Rowell and was inspired to make some sort of animation based off of it. At first I was planning on doing one about chapter 61 (iykyk), but then Heather by Conan Grey came on shuffle, and I was inspired to make an animation more on the side of Baz's story rather than the main character's because of how perfect the song was. Heather just hit's different when you have also read this book.
I'll admit I didn't do my best for this, because at the end of the day, part of me just wanted to be over with it. I was a bit lazy. So the animation is a bit choppy and rough, but it gets the point across and it tells the story.

What program did you animate on?
I drew on Photoshop, and edited it together with Premiere pro.
How long did this take you?
Juggling school and other projects, it took much longer than expected. About 6 months ago (June-ish) is when I came up with the idea. Took me a while to actually start story boarding though, and it did take a super long time to get it all mapped out. Early November is when I started drawing in the actual end product.
Is Carry On a good book?
Yes, I recommend it. But look at the age rating first. I ain't tryna send an eight year old to go read a young adult novel here.
