Welcome to Campbell's Coins. In this episode we take a look at E-Zest and it's affects on coins and silver. While E-Zest excels at cleaning proof or proof-like coins and bar, it does a great job with other coins too. E-Zest might be a solution for you if you don't want to polish your coins, which leaves micro scratches on your coins or bars. There is a lot of misconceptions when it comes to "cleaning" ones' coins. Some feel dipping is cleaning. But the true definition of cleaning is applying a frictional force to another object. In this video we are only DIPPING coins, we are not apply any frictional force to these coins and bars. A few caveats I must mention. Do not use this on numismatic coins or coins of value. E-Zest is a very potent liquid and can damage a coin or silver if it is left on too long. Please follow the instructions listed on the jar and thoroughly rinse off the metal under running water.
