How to fix the mic
How to fix the mic problem (no sound recorded) when you connect the Zoom H4n recorder to a PC USB slot?
This problem seems to happen to people who had it working before a Windows 10 Update or other version of Windows update. The update caused a kilohertz mismatch.
You can use the Zoom H4n as a high quality mic for your video recordings that gets recorded straight to your PC/Laptop. You need to turn on the Audio Interface option to do so.
The problem that occurred with me is because the device and the PC had different kilohertz settings. My device was set to 48 kilohertz while my laptop was set to 44 khz.
