Big response to large building fire! Multiple crews and officers responding!

A large fire broke out at a derelict working man’s club in Tylorstown, in the Rhondda Valleys, South Wales. Multiple crews and officers from across South Wales were mobilised from 17:15 on the 24th March, 2022. Fire crews remained on scene on the morning of the 25th, with the road remaining closed for another 24 hours.

Within one day of the fire, 4 youths have been arrested on suspicion of arson in relation to the incident.

Update 29/7/2022 -

“CHARGED | Back in March we appealed for information following a serious fire at the Tylorstown Workingmen’s Club.
The building was completely destroyed by the fire and local residents had to be evacuated due to structural concerns. It has since been demolished.
Detectives investigating the fire year have now charged two 17 year-old boys with the offence of committing ‘arson with intent to endanger life’.
They will appear in court in August.” - South Wales Police (Facebook)
