Using Bernat Forever Fleece (or any super bulky 6 weight yarn), a double crochet mesh stitch and chains, you can make this very easy 52” x 58” plaid blanket too!

(I found that 142 chains worked for me.  5 of each color for each block, 4 blocks so 20 total individual chains of 142 of each color)

I found 2 errors in my tutorial, so sorry!  One, I forgot to chain one after one of my double crochet stitches, as I was saying to remember to do that! 🙄 (so do as I say, not as I do….😊)
Also, when you get to the border, I accidentally edited in the first round twice.  I can’t go back and fix it now, so I hope it didn’t confuse you.
