AMD guidelines vs patient realities

Guidelines recommend providing lifestyle advice for patients with early or intermediate age-related macular degeneration (AMD). But, research shows a gap exists between recommendations and the actual information received by patients.

Sonali Dave from City, University of London, joins our first webinar of the year to share insights from her recent study, which has looked at what people believe to be the main barriers to the provision of lifestyle advice. Sonali’s study was based in 10 different hospital sites around England and included more than 400 participants.
