How to disassemble a Behringer C-1 mic

How to properly disassemble (and reassemble) a Behringer C-1 condensere mic. It's not obvious, and to do it well you need a pair of needle nose pliers (or plier with a sufficiently thin nose - even a single screwdriver will do, if the second collar is not fastened too tight).
Also, the proper way to free the XLR plug: that's why I had to disassemble the mic. When I received it the plug came out every time I inserted the mic cable (that's probably why I bought it so cheaply).
