How to Knit the Long Tail Cast on
1.Create a slip knot on the needles making sure you have a long enough piece to create the amount of cast on stitches you need
2. Grasp yarn so that the long tail is in front, wrapped around your thumb and yarn attached to skein is wrapped behind index finger
3. Grab yarn in front by going over and under
4. Twist yarn and hook to grab yarn in back by going over and under
5. Pull yarn in back over yarn in front to catch and pull
