In this video, I will show you how to enable File Share Auditing on Windows Server, as Windows allows you to track and monitor access to files and folders on the server. By enabling auditing, unauthorized access attempts, modifications, or deletions of files are detected. This information is very important to detect security breaches, so enabling file and folder auditing on a Windows file server is important and very important. The steps to enable file and folder auditing on a Windows file server are two steps, which are: The first is to create a GPO and apply it to the users you want to monitor or apply it to all domain users by enabling the Audit Object Access feature on the group policy, and the second step is to configure the shared folder or file so that you can track access to this folder, so you must configure the audit settings for files and folders to make it easier for you to monitor this. - Enable Audit Object Access path in Group Policy: Computer Configuration → Policies → Windows Settings → security settings → advanced audit policy configuration → audit policies → Object Access.
