The MX10 TV Box runs on Android 7.1.2 and comes loaded with the Rockchip RK3328 SoC (System on a Chip) unveiled during Janurary's CES. The RK3328 SoC is capable of playing 4K videos with H.265, H.264 and VP9 codecs.
Whilst there are claims the MX10 TV Box can handle 4K at 60FPS, my android tv box review found that it can not. Played back in Kodi, 4K H.264 and H.265 files both played at 30fps but increasing the bitrate or FPS meant it would fail. Netflix and YouTube both worked well at 1080p reolution though.
This Android TV Box is perfect for Kodi 17.5 which can be downloaded straight from the Google PlayStore without any issues. With the coupon code below, this makes it potentially the best Kodi TV Box of 2017 for under $50.
