Kalaam ~ Hazrat Ahmed Jaam r.a.

The incidence of Visal (death) of Hazrat Qutubuddin Bakhtiyar Kaki Rz. A is as following:

Once in a Sufi gathering (mehfil-e-sama) in presence of Hazrat Khwaja Qutub Rz.A. the qawwal recited 12th century mystic Ahmad-e-Jam’s following verses-

Kushtagan-e-khanjar-e-tasleem ra,
Har zamaan az ghaib jaan-e-deegar ast !

(Those slain by the dagger of submission,
Each moment they find a new life from the Unknown...)

Khwaja Bakhtiyar Kaki rz.a. was so overcome and enraptured by these verses that he went into ecstasy for four days till his death on fifth day.
