LYRICS:
Chorus:
Here we come
Here we go
Land Back! That's our goal!
Lost a lot but now our cultures gonna take us home
Lost a lot now our medicine will keep us strong
x2
Mya Jack:
You put your pain on me, I don’t put my pain on you
i still got my love
that's how we made it through
Left it all out there I rise
Our land is our prize
Lexie Howard:
Never give up The world may be hard on you
Chase your dreams Be happy it will get you through
People try to bring you down
You know you got this
You need to prove them wrong
Don’t let them stop it
Lainie Morgan & Percy Johnson
This Rez life! Got me feeling like I'm gonna die. I tell myself everything is gonna be alright
Don’t wanna die! Because of this Rez life gonna leave all of the bad stuff behind
Chorus:
Here we come
Here we go
Land Back! That's our goal!
Lost a lot but now our cultures gonna take us home
Lost a lot now our medicine will keep us strong
x2
Desmond Mclean:
I can not lie, These guys are dope, All this hope
Can lead me to my dreams
All these fiends keeping me
These scenes that they can’t see
Not what it seems
You can feel free to speak
I will dream big
Tatum Jack:
Trying to find the path they laid
They mad it like a maze
What’s the move, Tryna prove
That we not afraid
Sarah Swift:
So much loss So much hurt
My heart ripped out
Still beating But not eating
I can’t slow down
We fighting genocide

Poem: Sarah Swift
May 5th Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls Day
That’s one of the only times I hear about it discussed outside of school
that’s just cruel
if you want to see change
you don’t talk about it once a year
you don’t put white men in charge of Indigenous cases
they don’t understand or want to understand Indigenous culture
if this was white women and girls law enforcement would be all over it trying to get answers
but it’s not white women, it’s indigenous women
The Murder rate of Indigenous women is 3xs higher than white women[ MMIW — Native Womens
Wilderness] and murder is the 3rd leading cause of death for Indigenous women [ MMIW — Native
Women's Wilderness]
Do you see how that’s a problem?
Somewhere out there not too far from home
There is a family who has so many questions
A family that is waiting for answers that might never come
A family that is grieving the loss of their daughter, sister, mom
well
at least they talk about it once a year
Molly Pierre Jack:
I been feeling lonely, I been wishing that I don’t feel
This way, This way
Tryna Let go of the old me and the stories
We change, We change
Chorus:
Here we come
Here we go
Land Back! That's our goal!
Lost a lot but now our cultures gonna take us home
x2
