In this video, we compare the amount of frame flex on a Big Tex HDTS gooseneck trailer and a Gatormade gooseneck trailer loaded with a payload of 15,000 lb. To keep everything fair, we have loaded each trailer with the same cargo, in the same spot on the same truck.

When unloaded, the Big Tex Trailer measures 34 7/8 inches off the ground. Loaded, it measures 31 1/2 inches. That is a difference of 3 3/8 inches.

Now, let’s compare it to the Gatormade gooseneck trailer. Unloaded, the center measures 36 inches off the ground. Loaded, the center measures 33 3/4 inches. That is a difference of only 2 1/4 inches.

Compared to the Big Tex trailer, Gatormade has 33% less flex than the Big Tex HDTS Gooseneck Trailer.
