Built from a durable, high-quality aluminum and polyurethane housing, the Razer Kaira truly feels like a premium headset.
The ear cushions are made from a breathable FlowKnit Memory foam that is both cool and comfortable for those long gaming sessions.
Attached to the headset is a recording-quality cardioid mic, meaning the microphone has a heart shaped pickup field aimed at your mouth, ignoring any background noise from your television or PC.
Sound comes courtesy of the inbuilt 50mm drivers from Razer Triforce that supply highs, lows and mids separately for clearer audio.
But if that’s not clear enough, you can cycle through 4 separate EQ presets on the Android/iOS app.
You’ve got two different options for connectivity; you’ve got a super-low latency Bluetooth connection and a 2.4gHz wireless connection that can be used independently or simultaneously.
Switching between the connection methods is as easy as flicking a switch, maybe that’s why they call it SmartSwitch?
This means that when connected to your smartphone, incoming calls can be taken in your headset with just a tap.
So now there’s no excuse for 15 missed calls on Saturday night.
So, what do we like about the Razer Kaira Dual Wireless PlayStation 5 Headset?
We’ve reviewed a TONNE of headphones and gaming headsets on this channel before but the Razer Kaira is easily the most feature packed premium gaming headset so far.
It ticks all the boxes in terms of audio quality, mic clarity, connectivity and comfort.
We’re also pleased to find that it’s one of the few wireless gaming headsets that is compatible with the new Xbox Series X.
